This is one of the last refuges of the elves, they come here in great numbers to sail in the white ships to the lands in the undying west, sadly, it is but a shell of it's former glory, many of it's walls only inhabited by ghosts of the past.

[ ]Bree-land
Bree-land refers to the lands in and around Bree-hill, there are 4 towns in that area, though Bree is the only one that is well know. The other 3 in the region are Staddle, Combe, and Archet.

[ ]The Ettenmoors
These lands to the north of Imladris are home to a multitude of animals, both normal and evil. These lands are some of the most dangerous in the world, but there are many lost treasures of the ancient kingdom of Rhudaur, and therefore makes this a popular destination for adventurers.

[ ]Angmar
To the far north of Middle Earth was once the realm of the Witch-King of Angmar. Half way through the 3rd age of the sun, he led a great host through the lands of northern Middle-Earth, though was defeated. His realm lives on only in long deserted ruins.

Long ago, in the second age of the sun. Sauron launched a great assault upon the free peoples of Middle-Earth, war ravanged lands far and wide, and the the elves were very nearly defeated, but with the help on the Numenoreans, they pushed Saurons forces back, Imladris was a haven to the elves in those times.

In the hills north of the shire, there was once a great city, it was the capital of the northern kingdom of Arnor before it fell into ruin, it's king was Elendil, the great king of the Faithful, but it has long since decayed, now only brave adventurers wander these lands.

Rhovanion
[ ]Northern Mirkwood
The northern lands of the forest that was once known as Greenwood, Mirkwood has been ruled by the Sylvan people for long years and has never fallen to the enemy, can they weather the war?

[ ]Southern Mirkwood
To the south of the mountains of Mirkwood are the lands of Dol Guldur, this was once one of the Dark Lord's main strongholds until his defeat, and now, his creatures are returning, and it has again become a place of evil.

[ ]Dale
Not much more than 100 years ago, the town of dale was destroyed by the dragon Smaug the Golden. It has now been rebuilt in the shadow of the Lonely Mountain and it's people thrive.

[ ]Erebor (3 sub-boards)
The Lonely Mountain, not long ago, it was inhabited by Smaug, but the return of Thorin and the skills of Bard removed that creature. The mountain is now home of the Dwarves, and is the largest and best known of their kingdoms.

[ ]Beorning Lands
To the west of Mirkwood, between the forest and the Mountains of Mist, are the lands of the Beornings, the people of Beorn. Allies of the Woodland Elves, they know the elves like few other men now do.

[ ]Lothlorien
The elven lands of Celeborn and Galadriel, these are some of the most ancient lands of the Eldar, and few mortals have ever entered this realm. Times are changing though, will this realm of the elves weather the tides of change?

[ ]Moria
The great halls and caverns of the Dwarven realm of Khazad-Dum. Now though, it's inhabitants are of a more sinister kind, the goblins. Once orcs, but stunted and weakened by the lack of sunlight, but they more than make up for that with their numbers and the more dangerous creatures there.

Southwest Lands
[ ]Minas Tirith
The white city of Minas Tirith, the crown jewel of the Stone-Land. It's white stone walls have withstood everything ever thrown at them, but can they stand this new terror?

[ ]Osgiliath
Once the capital of the great realm of gondor, now a shadow of it's former glory. It's ruined columns and towers and now inhabited by none, and this ancient city is now only another battlefield in many great wars.

[ ]Ithilien
In the farthest east of Gondor, between the great river and the dark mountains of Mordor, is the forested realm of Ithilien. During the War of the Ring, the Rangers of Gondor took to the field here to battle the creatures of Sauron.

[ ]Pelargir
The port city of Pelargir, one of the great cities of Gondor's past. It is still inhabited though, and it's people are master sea-farers, and their ships have lent great aid during many wars. It is under frequent danger from attacks of the Corsairs of Umbar, and therefore has formidable sea defenses.

[ ]Dol-Amroth
Dol-Amroth is one of the oldest cities in the whole of Gondor. Many of it's populants are believed to be direct decsendants of the original faithful, untainted by lesser men. The only fortress equal to Dol-Amroth in strength is Minas-Tirith itself.

[ ]The Western Fiefdoms
In the far west of Gondor, near the sea, are the western fiefs. Andrast, Anfalas, Pinnath Gelin, and Lamedon are just a few, each of the these places has their own royalty and customs, but in times of war, they do not hesitate to band together and defeat a common enemy.

[ ]Edoras (1 sub-board)
The Golden Halls of Edoras are the home to the throne of Rohan. For a good many years the kings of Rohan have ruled over the old Gondorian land of Calenardhon. Over these years, the people of Rohan have fought back evil time and time again, but this will be their greatest test yet.

The old hold of Dunharrow has been on the slopes of the Dwimorberg longer than anyone can remember, but the men of Rohan use it in times of danger none the less. In the mountain though, are the Paths of the Dead, where no one has passed through alive...

[ ]Helm's Deep
The old Fortress of Helm's Deep, though this name does not truly apply to the fortress, it is called so for simplicity's sake. It was where the people of Rohan went during the wars of the long winter. Will they need to abide there again?

The Glittering Caves of Helm's Deep. Here, after the War of the Ring. Gimli brought a great number of dwarves here to settle in these beautiful caverns that were once only store-rooms for the people of Rohan.

[ ]West Emnet
The plains of Rohan west of the Entwash, here are the many villages of Rohan the lands here are never safe from the barbarians
of Dunland. Therefore each town has it's own Eored of riders who defend their people.

Isengard was once property of the great Istari Saruman of Many Colours, but he and his forces were defeated During the War of the Ring. Now the Ents of Fangorn are rejuvenating the land that was destroyed in those dark days.

The lands of the Dunlanders. Old enemies of the Eorlings, are very jealous of their eastern neighbors.
Many times over the past years have they moved to destroy their golden-haired enemies, and they have not succeded, yet.

Southeast Lands
[ ]Morannon
Morannon, the black gate. Thousands of the Dark Lord's servants pass through here each day on there way to the destruction of the free peoples of Middle-Earth. While creature stand guard on this wall, no enemy may pass.

[ ]Minas Morgul
This once great city of Gondor was Isildur's city in the southern realm. When the Witch-King took it for himself though, it fell into darkness. Now it is one of the great souces of the evil emminating from Mordor.

[ ]Plateau of Gorgoroth
To north of Nurn, in the land of Mordor, is the Plateau of Gorgoroth. The most well known features of that area are Orodruin, the mountain of doom, and Barad-Dur, the dark tower. This is where the great hostes of Mordor gather for battle.

[ ]Nurn
In the south of Mordor, near the sea of Nurnen, are the slave camps of the Dark Lord Sauron. Here, under the command of orc slavers, men labour to generate food, armour, and weapons for the dreadful hosts of the black land.

The great southern capital of Harad. Once a port city of the Numenoreans, now a haven of the Corsairs, descendants of Black Numenoreans. The Corsairs have for long years terrorized the people of southern Gondor, and could be a major force in the coming war.

This land was once part of Southern Gondor, but it has since fallen into the hands of the Southrons, the Haradrim. These once great lands are now nothing but battlefields of ruins, sand, and grass.

These lands are almost uninhabited, few clans of haradrim tribesmen roam the sandy dunes, and to the north, the dark mountains of mordor, casting a dark shadow on the hearts of these already easily swayed men.

In the lands far to the south of Umbar, deep in the jungles, there are the tribes of the Mahud. Only these tribesmen have the skills to control the Mumakil of the Jungles.
These animals have come to be a vital part of the armies of the South.

The lands of the khandish lords are many and divided. There are said to be more nobles than cattle in the whole of khand. The borders of these countries are ever changing, even moving, as battles are won and lost, and the dangerous mercenaries here are a powerful ally, as long as you pay the most.

The lands to the far east of Middle-Earth are inhabited by the Dark Lord's strongest supporters. The Easterlings of Rhun serve Sauron with pure loyalty, unlike the orcs who serve in fear, or the haradrim who serve for rewards. This makes the Easterlings the most powerful of Sauron's subjects.

In the Early days, long before the 1st age of the sun, when the only light was the blanket of Varda, the elves were awoke. When it cam time for them to go to Valinor, some chose to stay, and those few live now to this day in their homeland.

Cidros is a small island to the far east of the Hither lands. The population consists of winged cats who are expert craftsmen and are expert pacifists. They live a peaceful life, despite their population density problems (over 700000 people) which necessitate miniscule apartments. In the middle of Cidros, there is a holy mountain.

Far South
[ ]Northern Bellakar
The lands to the far south of Middle-Earth, even past the deserts of Harad, have never been much involved in the wars in the north. Northern Bellakar though, a mostly desert nation has heard rumours of these wars, and may even take part, should the battlefield come too close.

[ ]Southern Bellakar
Decades ago, Southern and Northern Bellakar were one, but a dispute between the king's two oldest princes led to it's seperation, now the two kingdoms are at a ceasefire in their hate-filled war, but the new developments could tip them both over the edge and cost many lives.

[ ]Sultanate of Raj
South of the Bellakarian nations is the ancient numenorean realm of the Sultanate of Raj. Many years ago, when the numenoreans where first exploring Middle-Earth, they created many colonies on the coasts of these new found lands, the Sultanate was one of the greatest of these.

[ ]Clan Territories
To the south of the Sultanate, the deserts are harsh, and fresh water is hard to come by. The realms of this land, Raishoul, Kanjar, Bishra, Tulwang, and Zajantak, are not easy places to live in. Peace is rare in these parts, and soon it may be broken by the lust for power.
